Looking for fun things to do in New Orleans? Take a guided tour through Mardi Gras World. This New Orleans tour is one that you and your family will never forget. Since 1947, our artists and craftsmen design and build the oldest and biggest parades, with over 500 floats built and decorated each year. After an overview of the history of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, our guides will take you through our float den where our artists work feverishly to build the floats and props. Mardi Gras World is located on the East Bank at the end of Convention Center Blvd. We are open 7 days a week from 9:30am-4:30pm. Tours are offered every 30 minutes, with the last tour starting at 4:30pm. Tours last approximately one hour. Tour prices are $19.95 (adults), $15.95 (seniors, 65+), and $12.95 (children, 2-11).
