Mardi Gras World Shuttle Alerts is an internal SMS notification program operated by Blaine Kern Studios / Mardi Gras World, 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA 70130. It is available only to Mardi Gras World employees and contractors assigned to shuttle operations. It is not offered to the public and there is no consumer opt-in.
Enrolled staff receive operational incident notifications about the Mardi Gras World shuttle service, including vehicle breakdowns, route delays and disruptions, accidents, and passenger safety events, so that on-duty supervisors and management can respond. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

How employees enroll
Enrollment happens inside our internal admin application, apps.mardigrasworld.com, under Shuttle Log → Settings. That application requires an employee login, so the screenshots below document the complete opt-in experience for review purposes.
Mobile numbers are enrolled only through this screen, by the employee themselves. Numbers are never purchased, rented, sold, or obtained from third parties, and no one can be enrolled on another person’s behalf. Each opt-in is recorded with a timestamp, the enrolling user, and the exact consent language shown at the time of consent.
1. The opt-in screen
The consent checkbox is unchecked by default and labeled optional. The full disclosure — program description, message frequency, rate notice, STOP and HELP instructions, and the statement that consent is not a condition of employment — is displayed directly beside the checkbox on the same screen, with links to this site’s privacy policy and SMS terms.
2. Consent is optional — settings save without enrolling
An employee can save their settings with the box left unchecked. The save succeeds normally and the system confirms that they are not enrolled. Consent to receive messages is not required to create an account, sign in, save settings, or use any other function of the application.
3. Opting in
An employee who wants alerts enters their mobile number and ticks the box. Unticking the box and saving removes the number immediately. Replying STOP to any message also removes it immediately.
4. Where the setting sits
Shuttle Alerts is one optional setting among several in the application. It is not part of account creation, not part of any terms of service, and does not gate access to anything.
